The Department of Meteorology has forecasted several spells of showers in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers are expected to occur at several locations in the Eastern, Central, and Uva provinces, as well as in Hambantota and Polonnaruwa districts, during the evening or night.
Misty conditions are anticipated in parts of the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, and Eastern provinces during the morning.
The public is advised to take necessary precautions to minimize the risks associated with temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
