The Department of Meteorology forecasts a few showers today (05) in Uva Province and the districts of Batticaloa, Ampara, Matale, Nuwara-Eliya, and Hambantota.
In the evening or night, showers or thundershowers may occur in Galle, Matara, Kalutara, and Ratnapura districts.
Elsewhere, mainly fair weather will prevail across the island.
Misty conditions are expected in the morning in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, and North-Western provinces, as well as in Galle, Matara, and Anuradhapura districts.
