The Ministry of Health and Mass Media has announced the formation of a 30-member relief team to support those affected by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.
Deputy Minister Hansaka Wijemuni confirmed that the team includes two specialist doctors, six army doctors, and nursing staff.
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Myanmar has already notified local authorities, and the team will be deployed once approval is granted by the Myanmar government.
