Former Executive Director of the National Lotteries Board (NLB), Thusitha Halloluwa, was granted bail today (18) after appearing before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva ordered Halloluwa’s release on two surety bails of Rs. 500,000 each. In addition, the court imposed a travel restriction and directed that his passport be surrendered.
Halloluwa, who had been evading court proceedings, was arrested in Colpetty on August 19. The arrest is linked to a shooting incident involving his vehicle in Narahenpita.
