The world’s shortest living buffalo has been reported from the Malwadi area of Maharashtra, India.
The three-year-old buffalo, named Radha, was born at the Trimbak Boret Farm and has now been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records.
Radha stands at just 2 feet 8 inches (83.8 cm) tall—making her only slightly taller than the world’s shortest living woman, India’s Jyoti Amge, who measures 2 feet 0.7 inches (62.8 cm).
She is also nearly four feet (1.2 m) shorter than the world’s tallest living buffalo, King Kong of Thailand, who stands at an impressive 6 feet 0.8 inches (185 cm).
