A medical team from India has established a fully operational field hospital in Mahiyangana, Kandy, to support communities affected by recent floods and landslides.
The facility provides essential trauma care, surgical services, ambulance support, and other critical medical assistance to those in need.
In a post on X, the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka stated that the initiative aims to ensure timely emergency and life-saving medical care for affected residents.
