Sri Lanka’s legendary fast bowler Lasith Malinga has been appointed as the Fast Bowling Consultant Coach for the Sri Lankan national team during their four preliminary-round matches of the T20 World Cup 2026.
According to cricket sources, Malinga is scheduled to join the national squad on February 5, when he will begin his consultancy role.
