Aswesuma welfare benefit payments for October are scheduled to be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts today.
Under the first phase of the programme, Rs. 9.12 billion will be distributed to 985,283 beneficiary families.
Under the second phase, Rs. 2.04 billion will be credited to 212,445 beneficiary families.
Accordingly, a total of Rs. 11.16 billion is scheduled to be distributed among 1,197,728 beneficiary families under both phases.
