Thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are likely to occur at several locations in the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the districts of Kalutara District, Galle District, and Matara District.
Temporary localized strong winds may occur during thundershowers. The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by lightning activity.
