The 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination is set to commence tomorrow (17), with 451,463 candidates expected to sit the exams at 3,545 centres islandwide, according to the Department of Examinations Sri Lanka.
The examination will run from February 17 to February 26, 2026.
Commissioner General of Examinations A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage advised candidates to report to their respective examination centres at least one hour before the scheduled start time.
Meanwhile, Miyuru Chandradasa, Professor and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Faculty of Medicine, Ragama, urged students to remain calm and maintain a relaxed state of mind as they prepare for the examinations.
He emphasized that managing stress and staying composed can help candidates perform at their best.
