Sergio Gor, the United States Ambassador to India, said he held discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in New Delhi on strengthening economic cooperation between the United States and Sri Lanka.
In a post on X, the Ambassador said the meeting focused on enhancing commercial ties and advancing regional stability through closer collaboration.
“Strong partnerships deliver real results for our countries,” he noted, adding that discussions also covered ways to deepen broader bilateral engagement.
President Dissanayake is currently on an official visit to India, where he is attending the India AI Summit in New Delhi.
