Sri Lanka Police have launched a special security plan to prevent possible unruly incidents among students following the conclusion of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.
The examination, which commenced on February 17, is scheduled to conclude today (26).
In a statement, Sri Lanka Police Headquarters said the decision was taken in response to incidents reported in previous years, where students who sat for the O/L examination were involved in disorderly behaviour after the exams ended.
Police also urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant and closely monitor their children to help prevent such situations.
Authorities emphasized that maintaining public safety and preventing damage to property remain key priorities during the post-examination period.
