The Police Narcotics Bureau says that 92 parcels of heroin weighing 103.28 kilograms were discovered aboard a multi-day fishing trawler brought to the Dikkowita Fishery Harbour following a search operation.
The Sri Lanka Navy stated that the narcotics were found during an inspection of the vessel, which had been taken into naval custody.
Further investigations confirmed that the recovered parcels contained heroin.
