Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, as well as in the districts of Galle, Matara, Mannar, Anuradhapura and Vavuniya after 2.00 p.m. today (20), according to the Department of Meteorology.
Misty conditions are also expected in some areas of the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, and in the districts of Galle, Matara, Kalutara, Gampaha, Kurunegala and Anuradhapura during the early hours of the morning.
The general public has been advised to take adequate precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
