Colombo Municipal Commissioner Palitha Nanayakkara says vehicle parking fees in Colombo have been reinstated from today.
He explained that parking charges were suspended from March 18 due to long vehicle queues near fuel stations and surrounding areas.
However, with the introduction of the QR-based fuel distribution system, queues have significantly reduced.
Accordingly, the Commissioner said parking fees resumed as usual from 6:00 a.m. today.
