ID Office Services Suspended Until Further Notice After System Failure

All public services of the Department of Registration of Persons, including the one-day identity card issuing service, have been suspended from today until further notice.

The department said the decision was taken following a sudden breakdown in its computer system yesterday afternoon.

Accordingly, services will remain unavailable until the system is fully restored.

Earlier on the 24th, all public services were also temporarily suspended due to a similar system failure.
