Despite the current global crisis, former UNP Deputy Leader MP Ravi Karunanayake says there is no obstacle to bringing investments to the country.
Speaking at a media briefing, the MP said that the country will face a debt repayment problem by 2028.
Therefore, he pointed out that if the country loses the returns it receives through investments, the country will inevitably face a debt repayment problem.
The MP also said that this is an excellent opportunity to promote investments through the Port City and the Board of Investment through the banking sector, insurance sector, shipping, health and tourism sectors.
