Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka next month, with a focus on strengthening bilateral ties.
The visit is expected to prioritize cooperation in the fisheries sector, a key area of mutual interest between the two countries.
In preparation, Ramalingam Chandrasekhar recently held discussions with the Maldivian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka at the Parliament Complex.
According to the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Marine Resources, both sides are currently engaged in extensive talks to expand collaboration and explore new investment opportunities ahead of the visit.
