The University Grants Commission Sri Lanka (UGC) has announced that the handbook for university admissions will be released at midnight today.
The release follows the publication of the 2025 G.C.E Advanced Level (A/L) results, providing students with the necessary guidelines to apply for admission to state universities.
According to the UGC, 176,527 candidates have qualified for university entrance out of the 281,810 students who sat for the 2025 A/L examination.
The handbook is expected to outline application procedures, course selections, and other key requirements for prospective undergraduates.
