Two Newborn Lion Cubs Draw Visitors to Dehiwala Zoo

Director General of the Department of National Zoological Gardens Sri Lanka, R. C. Rajapaksa, visited the Dehiwala National Zoo today (01) to observe the zoo’s two newborn lion cubs.

The male and female cubs were born at the zoo on December 24 last year.

During the visit, the Director General inspected the health and well-being of the cubs and also interacted with visitors who had come to see them.

The zoo has announced that the cubs will be open for public viewing daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Visitors have been invited to experience and appreciate wildlife in a natural environment at the Dehiwala Zoo.
