Sri Lanka Customs Collects Rs. 1.83 Trillion in Revenue in First Eight Months

Sri Lanka Customs has recorded a revenue of Rs. 1,832.7 billion during the first eight months of this year.

Customs said its revenue target for August was Rs. 190.274 billion, which was achieved by August 27.

The department subsequently recorded a total revenue of Rs. 199.629 billion for August.

Sri Lanka Customs has been set an annual revenue target of Rs. 2,206.995 billion for this year.

Meanwhile, Customs also exceeded its revenue target in 2025, recording total revenue of Rs. 2,557.535 billion.
