NPP Government to Mark Second Anniversary with Rally in Akuressa

A public rally marking the second anniversary of the National People’s Power (NPP) government is scheduled to be held in Akuressa on September 20 at 2.00 p.m.

Minister Sunil Handunnetti announced that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to attend the event.

According to a statement issued by the Minister, the rally will be held under the theme, “Our Government – Two Years: A Blessing to the Country.”

The event will mark two years since the NPP government came to power.
