A five-member delegation of Sri Lanka’s ruling Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) will visit India from September 27 to October 1 under the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) “KNOW BJP” initiative.
The delegation will be led by JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva and includes Central Committee Member Chandrika Adikari, MP Aboobucker Athambawa, District Committee Member Kabilan Suntharamoorthy, and International Department member Kalpana Madhubhashini.
During the visit, the delegation is expected to meet senior BJP leaders and Indian government representatives. The programme reportedly includes meetings with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
