Three ships carrying urea fertiliser required for the Maha cultivation season are expected to arrive in Sri Lanka this month, the National Fertiliser Secretariat said.
Its Director, Chandana Loku Hewage, said the first shipment, sourced from China, is scheduled to arrive the day after tomorrow.
The other two ships are expected to arrive on October 25 and 30, he added.
Approximately 180,000 metric tonnes of urea fertiliser are required for the Maha cultivation season.
