The Aswesuma Welfare Benefits Board has announced that the elderly allowance for the month of April will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts today.
According to the Board, a total of 689,931 individuals are eligible to receive payments under the current phase of the programme.
It further stated that more than Rs. 3.447 billion has been released to banks to facilitate the disbursement of Aswesuma benefits.
