The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) is set to host an Open Day Programme on March 22-23, 2025, at the Gregory Lake Car Park in Nuwara Eliya. The event will be honored by the presence of CBSL Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe on March 23 at 10:00 a.m.
Key Highlights of the Open Day:
- Digital Payments Promotion Campaign – Aiming to raise awareness of the latest digital payment methods, this initiative will provide hands-on guidance on using mobile payment apps. Service providers, including banks, finance companies, e-money operators (such as telecom companies), and Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), will be present to facilitate live demonstrations.
- EPF Mobile Services – On-site assistance will be available for matters related to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF).
- CBSL Publications – A dedicated stall will offer CBSL publications for purchase.
