Election Commission Receives 413 Complaints Ahead of Local Government Polls

The Election Commission has reported receiving 413 complaints related to the upcoming Local Government election from March 20 to date.

Of these, 382 complaints pertain to election law violations, while three cases involve acts of violence.

Meanwhile, the Commission has announced that the census of government officials assigned for election duties is nearing completion. Officials who have not yet submitted their details—either online or in print—are urged to do so promptly.

The required information must be sent to the respective District Election Office, with the approval of the official’s institutional head.
