A shipment of furnace oil required for electricity generation has arrived in Sri Lanka, according to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
CPC Managing Director Mayura Neththikumara stated that a vessel carrying 30,000 metric tons of fuel oil reached the country yesterday (12).
He added that the unloading process has already begun, with the fuel being transferred to the Kolonnawa Petroleum Storage Terminal.
