Leader of the House Bimal Ratnayake today requested the Parliamentary Arts and Cultural Affairs Forum to arrange a screening of the Bollywood film Taare Zameen Par for Members of Parliament.
Sharing his personal experience, Ratnayake said, “Taare Zameen Par had a great impact on me and my wife after we watched it. It made us think deeply about the needs of children. Members of Parliament who do not have feelings for children should watch this film. If not, I propose to provide them with DVD copies.”
