Litro Gas Lanka has assured that it can maintain an uninterrupted supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) throughout the month of May.
The company stated that 20,500 metric tons of gas have already been received for April, with a further 17,500 metric tons expected to arrive.
It added that current stocks are being held at a floating storage facility in the Maldives, ensuring continuity of supply.
Litro also noted that another shipment of 20,000 metric tons is currently en route to the Maldives via South Africa.
The company confirmed that it successfully released sufficient gas to meet demand during the festive season and has resumed regular bottling and distribution operations from April 16 to supply the market post-holidays.
