President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced that the Local Government Elections will be conducted next year, prior to the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Speaking during a visit to Kandy yesterday (20), the President also confirmed that Provincial Council elections are scheduled to take place within the same year.
