The Ministry of Urban Development, Construction, and Housing is set to hold discussions with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) next week to re-implement several housing projects that were previously initiated but halted.
Minister Dr. N.G. Anura Karunathilaka confirmed that the work would be carried out in multiple stages. He also assured that efforts would be made to restart the construction of 48,000 houses that were previously stalled. The discussions aim to accelerate the progress of these crucial housing developments.
