“No More Protests—Bring Investors Quickly,” Says Ravi Karunanayake

The government should take immediate steps to attract investors, as there are no longer any protests opposing them, says MP Ravi Karunanayake.

Speaking in Parliament, Karunanayake pointed out that the current administration, which once criticized the UNP government, is now following the same approach.

“The government promised to eliminate corruption and save money, but mere words are not enough. It should demonstrate how much has actually been saved. The President himself has acknowledged that investors face obstacles, which is an important admission. However, there are no more protests. No one is holding placards against investors anymore. So, there are no barriers—bring in investments without delay,” he urged.
