The Secretary-General of Parliament, Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera, announced that Parliament will convene next week from Tuesday, January 21, to Friday, January 24, 2025.
This decision was made during a meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business, held on January 10, 2025, under the patronage of Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.
Tuesday, January 21, 2025:
- 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Business of Parliament (Standing Order 22, Sections 1 to 6)
- 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Questions for Oral Answers
- 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Questions under Standing Order 27(2)
- 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Adjournment Debate on the “Clean Sri Lanka” program, moved by the government. The debate will continue on Wednesday, January 22.
Wednesday, January 22, 2025:
