Passport issuance services at the Department of Immigration and Emigration were disrupted this morning (11) following a sudden breakdown in the department’s computer system.
Controller General of Immigration and Emigration Chaminda Pathiraja said necessary measures are being taken to restore the system and resume normal passport issuance services as soon as possible.
