A meeting between Chief of Staff to the President, Prabath Chandrakeerthi, and Deputy High Commissioner of India, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, was held this afternoon (06) at the Presidential Secretariat.
The discussions focused on preliminary arrangements for the upcoming two-day official visit of Indian Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan to Sri Lanka.
During the visit, the Indian Vice President is expected to hold talks with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
The meeting also reviewed Indian-funded development projects already completed, as well as those planned for the future.
Also present at the discussion were Development Cooperation Adviser at the Indian High Commission Maitrey Kulkarni, Political Adviser and Head of Chancery Dr. Rambabu C., and Senior Additional Secretary to the President Roshan Gamage.
