President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will begin his official visit to China on January 14, 2025, according to Minister Nalintha Jayatissa, the Cabinet Spokesperson.
Announcing the decision at a recent Cabinet press briefing, Minister Jayatissa revealed that the President will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath and Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake.
The visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation between Sri Lanka and China. Further details on the agenda are anticipated closer to the date.
