Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has undergone successful surgery overseas, Opposition MP Ravi Karunanayake told Parliament.
“We wish the former president a speedy recovery,” he said.
Wickremesinghe had recently travelled to Singapore to receive medical treatment.
