The Ministry of Defence has announced that the review of appeals related to the surrender of firearms will be finalized today.
Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, stated that firearms not surrendered within the designated period or not presented to the review and inspection committee will be classified as illegal. Legal action will be taken against individuals in possession of such firearms.
