The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has announced a special bus service to accommodate travelers heading to their hometowns for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, as well as those returning to Colombo after the holidays.
SLTB Deputy General Manager Panduka Swarnahansa stated that 500 additional buses will be deployed for this initiative, which will be implemented in two phases. The first phase, from April 9 to April 13, will facilitate travel to villages, while the second phase, from April 16 to April 20, will assist those returning to Colombo.
