Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, Vijitha Herath, highlighted the growing digital cooperation between Sri Lanka and India. He emphasized that India’s advancements in digital technology, particularly in its start-up ecosystem, are being used as a model to help Sri Lankan youth acquire new skills.
Both countries are working towards a formal agreement to further deepen cooperation in the digital sector. This initiative will focus on leveraging technology to improve social security programs and reduce corruption, aiming to enhance public welfare and governance in Sri Lanka.
