Sri Lanka Police have announced that operations to apprehend drunk drivers will continue today. SSP Buddhika Manthunga, Director and Spokesperson of the Police Media Division, stated that officers are deployed at police stations across the country to enforce this initiative.
As New Year celebrations continue, the public is urged to avoid driving under the influence. The Acting Inspector General of Police has emphasized strict law enforcement against individuals caught driving while intoxicated.
