The Department of Meteorology forecasts showers or thundershowers in parts of Galle, Matara, Kalutara, and Ratnapura districts this evening or night (21st).
Elsewhere, mainly dry weather is expected across the island.
Misty conditions are likely in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, and North-Central provinces, as well as in the Kurunegala district during the morning.
The public is advised to take necessary precautions against localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
