Members of the Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) have commenced signing a no-confidence motion against Speaker Ashoka Ran.
Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunathilake informed the media that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is scheduled to sign the motion at 12 noon today.
The primary allegation against the Speaker is that he misled the public by falsely claiming to hold a doctorate from a foreign university.
