The Ministry of Defense has refuted social media claims that three Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) aircraft were used for President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s recent visit to Jaffna.
In an official statement, the ministry dismissed the reports as entirely false, clarifying that no SLAF aircraft were deployed for the visit. It confirmed that President Dissanayake traveled in his official car.
The President’s visit to Jaffna was to pay his final respects to the late Ilankai Thamil Arasu Katchchi (ITAK) senior leader, Mavai Senathirajah.
