The ICC T20 World Cup trophy tour is set to begin in Sri Lanka from January 21 to 24, with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake expected to officially launch the tour.
During its stay in Sri Lanka, the iconic trophy will be displayed at several key locations across the country, offering cricket fans a chance to view the silverware ahead of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup.
As part of the tour, the trophy will be showcased during the Sri Lanka vs England ODI at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, allowing spectators attending the match to engage with the coveted prize.
In addition to Colombo, the trophy will also travel to Kandy, Dambulla, and Jaffna, as part of the nationwide promotional tour.
Sri Lanka is one of the host nations of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and India.
