Former Deputy Leader of the United National Party and Member of Parliament Ravi Karunanayake has shared his views on the United National Party and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya moving towards a common understanding on an agreement.
In an interview with the website ceylonwire.lk, the MP said this development is a positive trend for both parties.
He stressed that the most important factor is for the two parties to reach a shared understanding on the need to work together.
He also pointed out that the UNP and the SJB should move forward jointly in a manner that benefits their party members.
The MP added that the next two weeks will be crucial, during which the two parties should come together and decide on the future course of action.
