Former Deputy Leader of the United National Party and Member of Parliament Ravi Karunanayake shared his views on the political journey of the current government during its first year in power.
In an interview with the website ceylonwire.lk, the MP said the government is now facing various challenges after completing a year in office.
He noted that the government should recognize that the “beautiful statements” made while in opposition do not always reflect reality once in power.
The MP emphasized that facing challenges is inevitable for any government.
He added that the true measure of a government’s success lies in how it navigates and overcomes these challenges.
