The Department of Census and Statistics has officially commenced the Household Income and Expenditure Survey.
Director General Anoja Seneviratne stated that the survey aims to analyze household consumption patterns across the country.
The initiative will cover a representative sample of 25,000 households from all regions of Sri Lanka, providing valuable insights into income levels, expenditure habits, and economic trends.
