The Ministry of Labor has identified 22,450 state and private sector institutions that have failed to provide employees with their due Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contributions.
Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe stated that discussions with the heads of these institutions have already commenced to address the issue.
He further assured that necessary steps will be taken to ensure employees receive their rightful EPF payments.
